How impressed I was with the transformation of the West Offices council HQ building – old and new in perfect harmony – a marriage made in heaven. The very friendly staff guided us around and answered any questions we had. We even met the Railway King, George Hudson – never before has a history lesson been such fun and so interesting.
Entertainment was thrown in as the talented members of the council choir sang for us. Wow. From start to finish the visit was a very enjoyable experience. Thank you to The Press for telling us about it, and an even bigger thank you to everybody at our new council offices who made us all feel so welcome.
Badger Hill, York.
