On my occasional walks in the city I am amazed at the clutter and obstructions to walking we see on our streets.
It must be a nightmare for the blind and visually impaired community.
I was hoping that there was going to be some improvement in the siting of signs and furniture in the city after comments made in past editions of the Press.
Does anyone actually listen to occasional appeals by the Blind and Partially Sighted Group in York?
Do they have any input on the planning of these controversial obstructions which we all see when walking around?
It would appear not.
Keith Chapman, Custance Walk, York.
