I WISH to express my disgust at the derisory sentences passed on the killers of Keith Wright (The Press, August 20).
They mocked then brutally attacked an innocent man for no reason. Their victim died of his injuries. In my world, that is a vicious murder.
They were found guilty with overwhelming evidence and then what do we see? One faces 12 years and the other four years. Ignore the so-called life sentence, which is meaningless these days.
When will our system reflect the true horror of the crime in passing a real life sentence? One killer will be a free man by his 21st birthday. Some justice.
