Too much ‘rubbish’

REGARDING the article of March 5 about a racist rant at a leaflet distributor, while I can in no way condone racism, the ever-increasing amount of rubbish through the letterbox and cold-call phone messages are certainly frustrating.

You can’t walk down the street without being approached by your new best friend advising you to change brands to save a fortune on bills.

Going to the post office to renew my road tax (a long queue), on top of the tax they insisted on trying to sell me phone top-ups/ house insurance/car insurance/ stamps/ envelopes, etc.

Stevie Ze Suicide probably overreacted to another pile of rubbish for the bin. It’s not a good way to promote any business by falling out with your customers, is it?

We could really do with a single point of contact for all of these evils. There are three different agencies for example that deal with cold phone calls, depending on whether the call is recorded or live and also on its content.

Wait....

This letter says "road tax", the only comment is from Paul... and he didn't pick up on it?

I think the internet must be broken...

Times are hard and friends are few, and if things don't change they will stay exactly as they are, so it looks as though we are in for more of the same, perhaps.
