Archbishop is right

THE Archbishop of Canterbury and fellow bishops have spoken out about a further 200,000 children being pushed into poverty by Government policy.

Good, but that is only half of it. They should be shouting from the pulpits about the wrongs of the massive imbalance of the wealth at the top of our society and their overall responsibility for this.

George Appleby, Leighton Croft, Clifton, York.

The biggest problem must be fuel poverty. The necessity to keep warm in a cooling climate while energy prices just keep going up to please the green agenda. Eating or heating, as simple as that!
Did you see the Rubbish Ann Reid put in the press yesterday? You can buy a lot of food and clothing just with the £50K the Lib Dems put away, let alone the rest of the money wasted on that ridiculous scheme that only meets their targets and provides absolutely no benefit at all.
