Reading the article headed “York experts to study pubs in Ireland” (The Press, February 7), I had to keep looking at the date at the top of the page to make sure it wasn’t a wind-up.
We are told it’s to be a ‘major study’ – then we are told they are ‘hoping’ to present the results to some conference.
Wow! Now who wouldn’t want an assignment like that?
