War affects us, too
11:43am Thursday 31st January 2013 in Letters By Reader's letter
SO Prince Harry seems to think he stars in Apocalypse Now or maybe Casualties Of War, where some morons go on what they used to call in Vietnam an Indian hunt.
It seems as though, as in Vietnam, part of Afghanistan has been turned into a free fire zone.
I remember during the Yugoslav war some idiots who fired at a train in Serbia couldn’t tell whether it was goods or passenger.
It’s about time we pulled out of the war.
I think the politicians should know two things.
In every country in the world the family structure and children are classed as important and loved.
As a reporter covering the Vietnam War once said: “The longer a country becomes involved in a war the more insensitive that country becomes.”
