A funny way ahead

SOME READERS seem to be incapable of deciding whether my letters to the press are serious or humorous.

To clear up this matter, I will in future sign serious letters as I do cheques – ie MC Usherwood, while the ones which I at any rate think are witty, sarcastic or just plain funny will be signed Mike Usherwood.
