I WOULD like to take this opportunity to thank all the citizens of Heworth, Tang Hall and Osbaldwick for their contribution of £2,330.63 to the poppy appeal in Heworth The figure is late because there has been income outstanding so I was unable to finalise the totals until now.
I should also like to add my grateful thanks to the managers and staff of Tesco Askam Bar who have let me collect there for the York Poppy Appeal over more years than I care to admit.
