THEY say this looks to be a bumper year for bank bonuses.
The Office for Budget Responsibility’s bank levy will raise millions less than David Cameron promised – what a surprise.
So coupled with George Osborne’s corporation tax cut, the rich boys will be lining their pockets again – all because we have a Government that is scared to stand up to the banks in general.
Sometimes I really wonder who runs this country.
The Treasury reckons the Government is determined to ensure the banks play fair.
Oh come on! How many times in the coming year are we going to read about bankers’ bonuses?
It beggars belief how many more lies the Government can tell. If they want to get out of the mess they are putting us in, then make the banks pay for it.
