AN article in The Press on January 14 outlines the dangers children risk in cycling in dark clothes and not having any lights.
A sergeant, Pete Rogers recalls his own account he witnessed of the very dangerous act of a teenager doing the very thing the article was highlighting. He makes no mention though of himself apprehending the offender or any punishment if he did stop the cyclist.
This maybe allowed the cyclist to repeat his careless riding.
