What cost scrutiny?
I FOUND the council’s decision to save money on having meetings behind closed doors okay, but when they have a deficit of millions they then go on to say they are then going to spend the money on “more scrutiny”.
What, are they going to scrutinise the private meetings or scrutinise all the other bureaucratic nonsense? No doubt they’ll use consultants. Seems they’ll be spending even more of our money in the end.
