I WOULD like to congratulate the RSPCA on their successful prosecution of the Heythorp Hunt.
I know it cost a lot of money, but I think it was money well spent, if only to make people more aware that hunting with dogs still goes on.
I would also like to congratulate the Government for deciding not to allow a free vote on the Hunting With Dogs Bill, even if the reason was they knew they would lose.
A recent poll shows 76 per cent of voters are now against fox hunting.
So a happy New Year for foxes and I hope a miserable one for the hunters.
