AFTER ten years of promoting events, YKSoul recently held their final charity soul music night at the University of York St John.

The evening raised £500 for the York Branch of the Normandy Veterans Association and guest DJs Mick Burnett and Steve Murphy – with YKSoul DJs Nick Beilby and Steve Bradley – delivered an eclectic mix of soul music to a packed house.

YKSoul would like to thank all our customers and DJs, who have supported us at more than 60 events and helped us to raise almost £60,000 for local charities.

We are proud to have shared our love of soul music with so many and hope that in some small way we have made a difference to the lives of those less fortunate than ourselves.
