Cinders was just great

First published in Letters by

ON SATURDAY, I felt duty bound to attend a performance of Cinderella at Joseph Rowntree Theatre, because a member of the family was in the cast.

I expected to be bored; I could not have been more wrong. The whole performance was a joy – no first night nerves – and I could not have enjoyed myself more.

A sketch involving the ugly sisters and Cinderella was pure Morcambe and Wise and the general level of performance left nothing to be desired.

Congratulations to all involved in this production.

Mr J Smith, Willow Glade, Huntington, York.
