GEOFF ROBB is right about Australia being a very generous place to visit and the bargain prices they allow seniors to use on trains, buses and ferries at any time of day.
I recently visited family in Sydney and only paid $2.40 for a rail ticket to go to Manley Opera House, a train journey calling at all the famous parts of Darling Harbour.
Other good offers were the number 10 bus trips for only $8. Can York bus companies match that?
