Markets to conquer

A ROTHERHAM hospital trust has to lay off 750 staff to save £50million by 2015.

With all the public sector job losses, now is the time to concentrate on manufacturing. There are new markets to conquer in China, India, Brazil and our Commonwealth.

People would be better off in a reasonably paid factory job than wallowing on the dole.

The Japanese are buying our Premier Foods (Branston etc) and their Hitachi is buying Horizon Nuclear Power which has plans to build a new generation of power plants. We’ll only get what we deserve, spending on Japanese cars and bikes. On TV there were hundreds of new Japanese cars coming off a huge ship, with a fraction leaving the UK.

Anyone down in Falmouth, Cornwall can see recession, ships “mothballed” on the river Fal, most being car transporters.
