I RECENTLY visited York with my family. We visited as many of the attractions as we could and were delighted with what we were able to see.
We were a little disappointed that the York Dungeon was closed due to flooding, but will go there if we return.
I would like to thank the passers-by who seeing us standing several times around York, map in hand and looking lost, approached without prompting, offering assistance.
The friendliness of those people is a credit to your fine city.
