WITH regard to the travellers’ gathering on October 21, as reported in The Press on October 22, it may have been peaceful, but one traveller in particular appears to not know anything about the Highway Code.
This rather portly person completely bypassed the roundabout at the BP garage choosing to drive down the wrong carriageway in the direction of Grimston Bar roundabout, making surprised oncoming motorists take diversionary action to avoid collisions.
It’s a pity there wasn’t a police presence to trap this errant person.
