Back tracking

A HEADLINE in a newspaper read “Man waits 18 hours on a trolley in accident and emergency at hospital”.

This was commonplace in the 1990s, as was having to wait months to see a specialist cancer consultant or years for hip operations. But if you had money, you could be fast-tracked.

By a strange coincidence, the Tories were in charge. Now the present lot promised not to make changes to the NHS (some fools actually believed them).

The recent health Bill gave the green light to fast-tracking queues if you have the money.

Reading of 18 hours wait in A&E all seems part of a picture, a picture of Tories wrecking our NHS and a familiar picture at that.

It`s unbelievable how many people forgot what life was like for the poor (and by poor I mean anyone who works for a living and has no hope of affording private schools or healthcare) under the Tories. Then they go and vote for it all over again. Serve them all right, it would be funny if it didn`t make you cry.
