GIVEN the limited choice we have in North Yorkshire for the forthcoming Police and Crime Commissioner election, and the inherent danger of politicising a potentially influential post which could affect us all, can we assume that the Government will follow its own advice on the recent public sector strike ballot and declare the ballot null and void?
