1) April 1973 - A blissful summer day at Upper Poppleton.

2) 25 May 1967 - Poppleton Maypole, which was felled because of rot. Schoolchildren watched and cheered as it was brought down.

3) 4 May 1968 - Mr Eric Cussans, chairman of Poppleton Parish Council, fits a weather vane to the village maypole, which replaced the one felled in 1967 due to rot. He is watched by villagers.

4) Undated. Perhaps 1968. Mr S cariss in charge of the operation to put up the new Poppleton Maypole.

9) 28 April 1994 - Poppleton under-11s, after winning the York Under-11s Friendly league
