Mascot challenge

THREE York mascots are challenging people to join them at an event aimed at bringing sports and activities to the public.

The Just 30 Fair will be held on Saturday, September 15, at Rowntree Park, and includes its first-ever mascot race.

Competitors will include the British Heart Foundation’s Mr Hearty, St Leonard’s Hospice’s Lenny The Bear and Snappy. The event is open to any local mascots from sports clubs, charities and community groups.
