STAFF at Gale Farm Pharmacy in Acomb are reminding parents to remain vigilant about head lice after children began their new school term.
Manager Hugh Lindsay said such lice were extremely contagious and would quite often go unnoticed and undetected for at least a month.
He said the pharmacy offered treatment without an appointment.
