A SURVEY to find out what people know about wetlands and wildlife in the vale of Pickering has been launched by Scarborough Borough Council.
Organisers of the poll hope to use the results to make people more aware of the importance of wetlands and how they are home to a wide range of animal, insect and bird species.
To take part in the survey, which ends on January 31, visit scarborough.gov.uk/wetlandsheritagesurvey
