1) A CAR was written off after crashing into a parked vehicle in York. A Vauxhall Astra collided with a parked Peugeot 406 in Leeside, Dringhouses, at about 8.30pm on Sunday. Nobody was injured but that the Astra had to be recovered.

 

2) THIEVES stole a laptop and other items from a warehouse at a farm near Selby. The warehouse, in Walden Stubbs, was broken into overnight last Friday, December 12, by thieves who forced open a steel door. A wooden shed was also broken into at the same time. Other items stolen from the properties were later found discarded.

 

3) A CORN shed at a farm in Walden Stubbs, near Selby, was broken into overnight on Thursday, December 11. The praiders cut the lock off the shed and gained entry, but police said nothing was stolen. Anyone with information should phone 101.

 

4) DETECTIVES say a carol singer may have information about a York burglary. Officers investigating a break-in at a property in Whernside Avenue, Tang Hall, on Saturday, want to speak to a woman who was seen in the area between 5.30pm and 7pm. 5) POLICE in North Yorkshire attended the scene of a serious collision in North Yorkshire. The crash in Castlegate, Malton, involved a car and a pedestrian. People were asked to avoid the area after the crash, yesterday afternoon.
