Winds are chilly from the north east. Lots of hills in Cornwall! Trip to Bude was 7,500 ft of climbing but set us up for the following day. Exmoor climb totalled 9,500 ft. Some of us wish we’d done more training.
One of the highlights was getting the ferry from Padstowe to Rock, unfortunately it was only half a mile but it gave our legs a pleasant rest. People along the way have been very kind, asking about the ride and giving money for the charity. There is some fabulous countryside and the sunshine makes it look beautiful, although we miss most of it when our heads down!
Tomorrow we set off for Bristol then Wales where the hills will be a little less, although we have the prospect of the climb to Cheddar Gorge. Looking forward to the cheese tasting at the top!
