Festive fun !

Hello again and please accept my apologies for not updating my blog sooner. The last few weeks have been hectic and I literally have not had the time to sit down and put pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard).

The Raffle draw at York City FC was a success and all in all we managed to raise over £1500 for Bowel Cancer UK which was a fantastic result. Thank you to all of you who bought and sold tickets. A winners list will be on my website in the next couple of days.

So is there anything else happening in 2009 you may ask?, "yes there is"! My wife and I (more my wife to be honest) are busy organising a Santa's Grotto at Dean's Garden Centre. With just four weekends left to dec out the grotto we are running short on time but I am sure we will have it finished and looking great before the opening day of December 5th. Presents are wrapped and we have involved many of the York schools who are kindly distributing vouchers for us over the next few weeks. As you would expect ALL proceeds are going to BCUK. Look out for the more specific "Grotto" blog in a couple of days!
