DEAN’S Garden Centres in York and Scarborough have raised close to £2,000 for charity through a biker’s charity event.

The family-run garden centre has been running its annual bikers’ charity event for five years.

This year’s event featured a motorcycle ride from the sister garden centre in Scarborough.

Those taking part raised a total of £1,895.

Motorcycle enthusiasts were treated to displays of classic motorcycles, complete with prizes for the best in show, as well as a raffle, trade stands, and food served up by the onsite Bothy coffee shop. Funds raised will be donated to The Alzheimer’s Society, the chosen charity of the year for Dean’s.
