Charity in quest for foster carers

CHILDRENS’ charity Barnardo’s is looking to recruit foster carers in North and East Yorkshire.
Emer Byrne, a Barnardo’s foster carer for more than 20 years, has fostered 12 children. As part of Fostering Care Fortnight which is running from now until May 27, she is helping Barnardo’s appeal for more foster carers, particularly for the children who wait the longest for a family – siblings, disabled children and older children.
