Tucano pull raises more than £1,000
A TEAM from a North Yorkshire air base has raised more than £1,000 by pulling one of its aircraft along the runway.
The crew, from RAF Linton-on-Ouse, was one of three teams to pull a Tucano for three miles along the runway with proceeds going towards three military charities.
The six-man teams pulled the aircraft three miles each, with members from each sharing the final mile, and by the end of the day had raised just over £1,033.
