PEOPLE in North Yorkshire will be treated to the best of Wales when a Welsh ladies’ choir arrives in Thirsk.
The Monday Choir, joined by the Three Welsh Tenors, will help the Thirsk committee for Yorkshire Cancer Research to raise money for the charity through song.
The evening will begin at 7.30pm at Sowerby Methodist Chapel on Saturday, May 12.
Pat Hammond, choir director, said: “Enjoyment is the motto for the evening, for all to share in the knowledge that a good cause is being supported.”
Tickets cost £6 and are available from White Rose Books in Thirsk or by phoning 01845 522819.
