STAFF at a York bar walked the city’s walls in fancy dress to raise funds for the British Heart Foundation.
Workers at Flares, in Tanner Row, are aiming to beat last year’s total of £400.
They already raised more than £100 from a bucket collection earlier this month.
On Wednesday, workers walked the three-mile stretch of the walls for spnsorship. Organisers say the fundraising will not stop there.
Samantha Storr, deputy manager at Flares, said: “We’re also planning to host some activity later on in the year for St Leonards Hospice in York who do so much for residents of our city.”
