AN early Christmas fair will be held in Bishopthorpe next week to raise money for charity.
The Beat The Rush Christmas Fayre will take place at St Andrew’s Church Hall, and has been organised by the York branch of the Marie Curie Cancer Care fundraising group.
Stalls will be at the church hall between 10am and 3.30pm on Saturday, November 12, with a variety of handcrafted gifts, home accessories, decorations, cushions, bags, jewellery and food available, with special offers on Marie Curie gifts and stalls just for children. Marie Curie Christmas cards, homemade cakes, quiches, chocolates, jams and chutneys and a raffle will also be available at the event.
