CHILDREN from the Happy Jays nursery in Clifton Moor, York, put their sleepy heads on to raise money for charity.
A total of 55 kids dressed in their nightwear as part of the Children’s Trust national pyjama week. The day also marked the tenth birthday of children’s character, Humphrey The Elephant.
To celebrate, they baked jam tarts, held a special picnic, and made elephant pictures.
Supervisor, Emma Brooks said: “The children all enjoyed coming to the nursery in their pyjamas, taking part in all the fun activities and joining in with a yummy picnic.”
So far, the nursery has raised more than £100 for the Children’s Trust, which look after kids with disabilities.
