A MAGNIFICENT £520 was raised for charity at a football tournament in York.

The adidas® cup took place at the playfootball centre on Sunday to raise funds for the York Hospital Special Baby Care Unit (SBCU).

York City’s Neil Barrett, Michael Gash, Michael Ingham and James Meredith were on hand to meet and greet the players, including the winning team called Phoenix Knights, who beat Selby College A 5-1 in the final.
