A FUNDRAISING drive for a baby with a rare and incurable condition will continue with a dog show.
The event, at The Purple Partridge, Howker Lane in Raskelf, on May 17, has been organised to support Blakes Genes – the fund set up to support Blake Knaggs, of Huntington, York.
Blake is one of only 57 children worldwide to be diagnosed with Mucolipidosis II ML2 (MPS).
The condition, inherited from his parents Louise and Paul, who are both carriers, is incurable and he has a very poor chance of reaching his fifth birthday.
The show, raffle and entertainment begins at 11am. Tickets are £5 from Pretty Paws Dog Grooming Salon and The Purple Partridge.
