A FOUR-YEAR-OLD girl has raised over £375 for charity with her first haircut.
Rebeka Nemeth, from Huntington, became curious about why people become bald while out shopping with her parents when she saw a girl who had lost her hair.
Later her mum, Angelika Nemeth, suggested Rebeka should have a small haircut after struggling to brush her hair. But Rebeka said she wanted to cut it all off and give it to the girl she had seen with no hair.
Ms Nemeth said: “We thought it was just something she would say and forget but since she said it she really pushed us about it so we had it done last week.”
Rebekah donated 12 inches of her hair, along with the £375, to the Little Princess Trust. “We are incredibly proud of her because she wanted to do this,” added Ms Nemeth.
