Skin charity donations appeal
A SKIN disease charity is appealing for donations of unwanted goods to help fund vital research into conditions like skin cancer.
The British Skin Foundation is urging people to use websites www.clothesforcharity.org.uk; www.giveacar.co.uk; and www.shpforcharity.co.uk to donate everything from old mobile phones to unwanted clothes and even cars – which can be sent to scrap or auction and either half or all the proceeds donated to charity.
