YORK train operator Grand Central Rail has unveiled a new moustachioed logo which is adorning its locos in support of men’s health charity Movember.

Staff from the company, including drivers, conductors, customer services assistants and managers, are also raising money and awareness for men’s health by growing a moustache and fundraising for the charity during November.

Grand Central, which operates direct services from York to London, says followers and passengers who share a photo of the temporary new mogos – whether from the platform or on-board the trains – could win a £250 donation to Movember in their name.

“Just use the hashtag #traintache and share the photos with the company @gc_rail on Twitter and on Facebook.com/grandcentralrail,” said a spokeswoman.
