ACCESSIBLE Arts & Media, the award- winning York charity, polished up their dancing shoes for a fund-raising Ceilidh and supper on October 31 at the New Earswick Folk Hall. All the proceeds went towards the work of this award- winning York charity.
“It was a great evening with a special performance from the ever-fabulous Hands & Voices and some of the best Ceilidh music around from York’s longest-established barn dance and Ceilidh band, Hot Not Bothered, and the tickets also included a delicious light supper,” says managing director Rose Kent.
“It was a chance to come and enjoy some ‘Jig’ery Polka’ry and dance your socks off in support of Accessible Arts & Media, and it turned out to be a ‘reely’ great night with a brilliant opportunity to see our Hands & Voices choir in action and the added bonus of dancing the night away with the fabulous Hot Not Bothered.”
