EMPLOYEES at a York print company are taking part in a charity cycle challenge.
Colleagues at Wood Richardson Ltd, in Haxby Road, are committed to raising more than £1,000 for a children and young people’s cancer charity the Chris Lucas Trust by taking part in the Great North Bike Ride on August 24.
Sales director Alan Coulson, production director James Richardson and other members of staff will embark on a 60-mile ride out of the Northumbrian coastal town of Seahouses, following the coast to Tynemouth Priory.
Inspired by Yorkshire’s introduction to the Tour de France, the team of riders will embark on their very own Grand Depart and they all will be wearing Wood Richardson Cycling Club jerseys sporting their club mascot “Woodie”.
