A TEAM from an international charity have thanked the public after they took part in the York Run For All this weekend.
The team, from International Service, took part in the 10km race on Sunday as part of their Race For Rights scheme to support projects in Ghana, Bolivia, Burkina Faso, Mali, Brazil and Palestine.
The scheme helps disabled people integrate into society and raises confidence through sport, and the International Service team also included runners from the Centre for Applied Human Rights at the University of York, City of York Council, and a local Mencap house in York.
Caitlin Green from International Service said: βIt was great to see such a diverse range of people out there on the day to support us. The atmosphere was fantastic and it was all in aid of our brilliant project partners overseas.β
