Rotarians have raised £6,500 for charity by selling second-hand luxury goods at a pop-up shop for four weeks in Malton.

Malton & Norton Rotary Club ran their annual Posh Shop at 12 Market Place, owned by Fitzwilliam Malton Estate in June and July.

Past president Paul Prichard said: “It’s good to see such an excellent result and it goes to prove when everyone pulls together just what can be achieved.

“We are immensely grateful to our wives, partners, Friends of Rotary and to the Estate for making the shop such a successful venture.”

The property is specially outfitted to house temporary pop-up shops.
