Charity auction for teenager raises £1,262
A CHARITY auction in York to help an autistic teenager travel to Peru raised more than £1,000.
The Kindness For Kieran event was held at the Cottage Inn, Haxby, last Friday.
It was organised by Amy Hall and Joanne James and will help pay for Kieran to go on a four-week trip to Peru to volunteer with Camps International.
Various businesses donated prizes and the auction made £1,262.05
