A MUSIC festival held in York has raised almost £2,000 for charity.
The Apollo Festival was started in 2013, and the one-day festival at York Sports Club in Shipton Road took place on Saturday, June 21, with four stages.
Artists included Reverend and the Makers, Mark Morriss from The Bluetones, and ex-Seahorses frontman Chris Helme, as well as a host of local acts.
This year, the almost sold-out festival raised £1,978.70 for The Smiley Riley Fund, with organisers calling it “a massive hit”.
