Volunteers needed for York Against Cancer event
VOLUNTEERS are needed to help York Against Cancer at an event this summer. The charity is hosting a fun day at Castle Howard on August 9, to raise money for a new minibus. to take cancer patients from their homes to St James Hospital.
The Run Or Dye event is a 5km race around the grounds. where the Competitors get covered in multi-coloured dyes and marshals are needed to throw colours onto the runners. For those who volunteer, York Against Cancer will receive a payment. To find out more phone 01904-764466.
