THESE North Yorkshire schoolboys have raised £250.40 to help build a school in war-torn Afghanistan.
Will and Sammy Unsworth, who attend Cundall Manor School, near Thirsk, have been collecting for the Afghan Appeal Fund, a charity which helps to provide education for children in Afghanistan, promoting peace and stability.
They have been asking for donations from the servicemen and women at RAF Linton-on-Ouse, where their mother serves, while dressed in traditional Afghan costume including pakol hats.
