East Yorkshire’s only Michelin-starred restaurant, The Pipe And Glass Inn, has created an Easter egg that weighs in at 20kg of chocolate to raise funds for the community in its home village.

Chef-owner James Mackenzie has made a spectacular decorated egg and is raffling the eggstra-ordinary prize to raise funds for the village hall in South Dalton.

Tickets for the raffle cost £2 each, or three for £5.

Tickets must be bought before 6pm on Easter Sunday, March 31. The prize draw will take place that evening.

The giant Easter egg has become a tradition since 2006, when James and his wife Kate took over the Pipe And Glass, raising thousands of pounds for the village hall.
