Paddington’s One Stop way to help children's charity

Paddington Bear and One Stop shops in North Yorkshire are again teaming up to mobilise support for the UK children’s charity, Action Medical Research.

From tomorrow until May 15, all One Stop shops will be placing Paddington-themed collection boxes on their countertops. The nation’s favourite bear is the mascot of the charity which finds and funds vital research for sick babies and children.

Tony Reed, chief executive of One Stop said: “One Stop is proud to again support the vital work that Action Medical Research funds. Our key focus is being the best neighbourhood store for our customers, which is why we’re helping to make a real difference to local communities by supporting this charity. The funds raised by the collection boxes will help the children's charity to continue to fund medical breakthroughs that help sick and disabled children.”
